![]() ![]() ![]() The biggest question marks hanging over the ending of season 1 are what happened to Charles Lindbergh after his plane disappeared and what happened in the special election after his disappearance?īoth of these could make for fascinating plot lines, the only question is whether or not the show’s writers are willing to answer them or if they’ll simply leave us hanging without an answer.Įither way, The Plot Against America concludes on Sky Atlantic on July 28th, 2020 with the full series available on-demand and via the Now TV app. In terms of plot, a second season would have a completely blank canvass as there is no longer any source material to work from. Philip Roth’s The Plot Against America is a particularly scary book to read in the fall of 2015 when businessman Donald Trump and an array of other candidates for the Republican nomination for President are spouting an irresponsible and demagogic rhetoric, unheard at the center of American politics ever in the nation’s history. Usually, in the world of US TV, it takes around a year for a new season to come out, so if it was renewed, we might expect The Plot Against America season 2 around March 2021 in the US, with it arriving in the UK a little later.Īlthough, given delays caused by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it’s likely that any potential second season would arrive later than planned. ![]()
